SAVE Education & Training

SAVE International, the premier international society devoted to the advancement and promotion of the value methodology (also called value engineering, value analysis or value management), offers education and training, as well as certification, for members and nonmembers.

The society's main educational and training opportunity comes at the annual conference. Conference attendees can hone their skills, exchange ideas with peers, and purchase services or products from exhibitors.

SAVE International also holds training seminars several times per year. Topics have included:

  • Creativity
  • Facilitation skills
  • Function Analysis System Technique (FAST)
  • Life cycle costing
  • Quality Function Deployment (QFD)

Value practitioners also can expand their knowledge through the offerings in SAVE International's product catalog. Choices include books and videos, conference proceedings from past annual conferences, VM marketing tools, and subscriptions to the society's member publications.

"SAVE International has given me the opportunity to learn my craft from experts in the field. The courses, the conference - and most importantly, the people - have taught me a tremendous amount that I continue to apply to my job. This has helped my company and its customers achieve increased value through cost reduction and performance improvement."

"One of the most rewarding and inspirational benefits that I have received from my long association with SAVE International and its members is the seemingly unlimited and unique applications of value management that are presented in Value World and at the annual conferences."
